All practices and training are cancelled until further notice. Due to the recent spike in COVID-19 cases and the Provincial Health Order of limiting social gatherings, we have made the decision to postpone all practices and training.

Two documents, The Surrey Schools Return to Extra-Curricular Sports Safety plan and Surrey Schools Sport Consent and Participation Agreement have been posted to the COVID-19 Health & Safety page and can be found here. (Both links also available at the bottom of this post)
Please read these documents carefully and follow all safety protocols outlined in these documents before resuming any Surrey school extra-curricular athletics activities. Please note:

- Only practices and training is allowed at this time. There are no scrimmages or competitions between cohorts, even at the same school, permitted at this time. There are no inter-school competitions or tournaments permitted at this time.
- All student-athletes must maintain physical distancing of 2 meters whenever possible. Physical distancing is mandatory for students of different educational cohorts.
- All student-athletes and their parent or guardian must sign the Surrey Schools Sport Consent and Participation Agreement as well as the schools’ athletic permission forms before participating in any extra-curricular athletic activities.

BC School Sports are still in Stage 2 of their return to school sports plan
Practices must follow the following guidelines
BC School Sports are still in Stage 2 of their return to school sports plan
- This means no inter-school competitions
- Practices are limited in times and numbers
- Scrimmages are not allowed
- Practice plans need to have admin approval before first practice
- Practices are skills and conditioning only
Practices must follow the following guidelines
- Players of the same cohort do not need to social distance, but highly encouraged
- Players of different cohorts must maintain 2m distance at ALL TIMES
- Coaches need to social distance at all times
- Limit “contact” between players. This means limit face to face drills
- No access to change rooms
- Mask are encouraged to be worn as often as possible
- Sharing of equipment are discouraged, but if shared, must be properly sanitized
- Please have each player complete the consent and agreement form before first practice
- Please complete the daily health check for all players before each practice
- Write down all player names who attend practice for contact tracing
